Okay so END and I were finally reunited after six painful months. So we decided to kick off our summer at our favorite country bar. While the night started out pretty lame considering it was a Friday, there were a few highlights.
First off, the pick-up lines:
1.Hey, is that a Droid? I have one too!
2.Hi, I'm Chad and this is Chad too.
3.Oh you're name is A. Are you a bitch? I know an A and she's a real bitch.
4.Hey baby, we can go ahead and get married tomorrow, how about the honeymoon tonight? (Okay, Okay I didnt hear that one on Friday, but I did hear it a few weeks ago)
The second highlight was the guy in the green shirt. He was clearly drunk possibly beyond. He approach our group of four ladies and said "Who wants to dance with me?!" We all pointed at END and she begrudgingly went on the dance floor with him. The body language I viewed from her was frigid. So L and I decided to surround them and attempt to show her how to dance. Well that failed, but apparently we missed some important pieces of conversation. END later told us he was so drunk he couldnt understand her name.
Later green shirt approached us again and I decided to dance with him because I was bored and I love to dance. He was fun to dance with, but obviously drunk off his ass. His best line was "I really wanna kiss you, but my mouth is dry. Will you follow me to the water fountain." Well since I was no where near as drunk as he was and considering my current non-relationship relationship, I declined. His second best line was "Whats you're name again; there's so many other girls here and its their fault I don't remember."
Okay while this guy was not a class act or really anyone that you would want to go home with, this type of guy is great for practice. If you're like END and don't really like talking to random people then practice with a really drunk guy--if you say something embarrassing he more than likely won't remember or even care.
My current advice is to just get out there and have fun. If you're at a bar or club there will be plenty of drunk people around embarrassing themselves so there is no need to worry about someone remember something embarrassing you might do.
Until next time,
XOXO
A
